With more than 50 years of experience in the underground utility and site development industry, Ron Meyer has built Ron Meyer & Associates Excavating on a foundation of hard work, integrity and strong relationships.
As a third-generation contractor, Ron understands the importance of quality workmanship and personal service. Throughout his career, Ron has remained actively involved in every aspect of the business, taking pride in seeing projects through from planning to completion. His commitment to clients, employees, and the communities we serve has helped establish the reputation and success of the company.
Ron continues to provide leadership, guidance & support to the team each day. His experience, knowledge, and dedication help ensure that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards that the Ron Meyer team is known for.
Jordan Lamers Vice President
Jordan has been a part of Ron Meyer & Associates Excavating, Inc. since 2004, growing up alongside the company and gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of the business.
Through years of dedication, hard work, and leadership, Jordan advanced through the organization and now serves as Vice President. His deep knowledge of excavation, underground utility construction, project management and company operations makes him an invaluable leader for both employees and customers. Jordan’s commitment to quality workmanship, strong relationships, and the values that have built the company continues to help drive Ron Meyer & Associates Excavating forward while maintaining the family-oriented culture that has defined the business for decades.
Bill Engelsman Supervisor/Estimator
Bill has been a dedicated member of the Ron Meyer & Associates Excavating team since 1985. With decades of experience in underground utility construction, earthwork, site balancing and infrastructure development, he brings extensive knowledge and expertise to projects of all sizes.
As a Supervisor and Estimator, Bill works closely with municipalities, engineers, and clients to ensure projects meet specifications, regulations, and expectations from start to finish. His understanding of varying site conditions and installation requirements allows him to develop accurate estimates and practical solutions for even the most complex projects.
Known for his versatility, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, Bill is a trusted resource for our team and our customers.
Mike Volkers GPS/Project Management
Mike has been a valued member of the Ron Meyer and Associates Excavating team since 2004. Beginning his career as a laborer and equipment operator, he advanced to Foreman before transitioning into GPS and Project management in 2014. His hands-on field experience provides him with a unique understanding of every phase of a project, from planning and estimating to execution and completion.
Mike works closely with our estimators, project managers, and field crews to develop accurate site models, quantity takeoffs, and GPS Machine control systems. He also provides ongoing support for utility and earthwork operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and with precision.
By leveraging advanced GPS technology and 3D modeling, Mike helps our team and clients visualize projects before construction begins, improving accuracy, communication and overall project success. His dedication, technical expertise, and practical field knowledge make him an invaluable resource to both our company and our customers.

Every great excavation crew needs a great office team—and that’s where Amanda and Candace come in. While the field crews move dirt and operate heavy equipment, Amanda and Candace keep everything else on track. Whether it’s payroll, accounting, permits, contracts, project paperwork, or answering customer questions, they’re the team making sure the details are handled with accuracy and a smile. Around the office, they’re known for solving problems, keeping things organized, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Together, they help ensure every project runs as smoothly behind the scenes as it does in the field.

Our foremen play a critical role and continue to have a significant level of commitment to our company. Our foreman are gifted team leaders who keep their jobsite and crew members on track, working effectively and efficiently. They are continuously maintaining tight schedules, while upholding safe site conditions and meeting any condition to plan specifications.
