Located in Cascade township Ron Meyer Associates Excavating Inc began this new restaurant project in late fall and was able to push through the heavy clay soils and tight site conditions to allow the builder to begin his foundation and structural framing before the onset of in climate winter weather conditions.
This project included the installation of two designed underground storm sewer storage systems, bore n jack a water main casing under the existing street for a new installation of ductile iron fire service line, as well as installation of a new sanitary sewer later, related manholes and grease traps. We removed the existing trees and related concrete retaining wall structures as well as handling a combined earth volume of 9000 cyds of topsoil, clay sand and aggregate in a timely manner as to allow the builder to install pavement prior to the end of the 2015 pavement season insuring the ability of the remaining construction trades to access the site via a solid hard surface through the winter building period and allow the store to open well prior to the next 2016 paving season.
